The first collaboration begins with Jana!

Jana, what's your story?
Apparently, I'm a mediator and an intellectual and creative drama queen. I'm originally from Slovakia (hence my accent, which comes out as soon as I say my first Hello). After living abroad, including the United States, I came to France for love. Drawing has always been a way to express myself, but also to escape into an imaginary world. My illustrations feature touches of my culture and my Slavic origins in a colorful, folkloric style.

What do you do for a living?
I'm a designer and illustrator. I'm following my childhood passion... In truth, I've always kept that childlike soul. I particularly like working on the beginnings of a project, when everything is still being invented, imagined. What I also enjoy is combining illustration and typography, both created and made by hand. Bringing the project to life has something magical in itself.
Finally, I am above all a woman in all her splendor and a mother.

Are you more of a paper napkin or cloth napkin person at the table?
Tablecloth or nothing at all. For its durable appearance, its nobility, and also a touch of nostalgia for yesteryear.

Why is this napkin project so important to you?
I've always been passionate about meaningful projects. I like to combine business with pleasure.

A word about your motives?
Through my drawings, I wanted to bring life and translate my perception of love with a certain lightness and a playful touch. I hope that my creations will also bring joy and poetry to the table to share a special moment with family or friends.

Speaking of the heart, what does it evoke for you?
Love, love, and more love. I would do anything for love; it's my reason for being and my driving force in life, as a lady of the heart puts it.
